SUBMIT YOUR WORK
Subjectively Objective’s main focus is on contemporary landscape and documentary photography. However, we’re happy to accept submissions of all types of work, as we’re always open to expanding the range of work we feature. We’re particularly interested in seeing substantial, cohesive bodies of work (for publication as books and magazines), but we’re also happy to see smaller series or even single images (for newsletter and instagram features). Due to the large numbers of submissions we receive, we may not be able to respond unless we’re interested in showing or publishing your work.
SUBMIT A PHOTOBOOK FOR REVIEW
I’m interested in reviewing a wide variety of photobooks on Youtube and in our Weekly Newsletter, even if they differ from the style of work Subjectively Objective typically publishes or features. I’ll be discussing not only the photographs themselves, but also breaking down the details on why things work the way they do as a book. I won’t necessarily be able to review of every submission. I’m only interested in reviewing books that I have something positive to say about, although I will likely be offering some constructive critiques.
