Description
We’re accepting submissions for a new series of exhibitions at our soon to be expanded Detroit area gallery space. If selected, the artist will be responsible for an exhibition fee that covers the cost of producing their exhibition print(s). The prints in these exhibitions will vary in scale, and we know that some artists like for their work to be seen larger and more expansively. But we also know some artists would like an opportunity to participate as affordably as possible (and larger prints obviously cost more to produce). So to accommodate everyone, we’re giving you several print size options to choose from. So please select the maximum size you’d be comfortable being selected for. You’ll still be considered for smaller sizes as well. Even if you’ve already submitted in the past (or we’ve already featured your work), please submit to this call if you would like the opportunity to be part of this series of exhibitions. If you can’t afford the submission fee, please contact me and we’ll figure something out.
Subjectively Objective founder Noah Waldeck will be using the same expert techniques he uses to make museum quality prints for his custom lab clients, so you can be confident your images will never have looked better in print. After the conclusion of the exhibition you participated in, we’d be happy to send your show print to you if you’d like (you’ll just need to pay for shipping).
This is an open call with no specific theme, as this will allow us the greatest ability to create a variety of interesting exhibitions. Our primary focus is on contemporary landscape and documentary photography, but even if your work falls outside of that, please don’t hold back from submitting. Even if we don’t find a place for your work in one of these exhibitions, we’ll be looking for every opportunity to use it for something else, including our Substack Features, Instagram Features, and Mini and Monthly Monograph Magazines.
